Basement Bar Remodel:

Overview:

June 2018:

Owner wanted to cover the bar with weathered wood to give it a better appearance. She was unhappy with the plain sea foam green appearance it had before.

So she went to Home Depot and bought some weathered wood for me to cover the bar with. These images show how well it turned out. The weathered wood is attached with glue and tiny brad nails.

I had to cut the angles manually with a circular saw because I didn’t have my power miter saw with me. They still turned out great!

The customer had me doing several projects at her retirement home. This is just one example.

Split Rail Fence:

November 2018:

This same customer had me build a split rail fence at the back edge of her driveway. The fence posts are set in concrete at 24″ deep. The rails are fixed in place with hidden screws. The holes were dug by hand. This project took one full 8 hour day.

Sliding Glass Door:

April 2017:

Customer hired me to help her flip a house. She wanted more light in the basement. Space was limited, so I installed a 5 foot sliding glass door. She hired a mason to cut an opening in the cinder block wall. That part took nearly 6 hours. Then I installed the sliding glass door and all the goodies needed to complete the job. My part of this project took 1 1/2 days.
